Well, it doesn't have anything to do with real estate so we will just file this under community information and leave it at that. Yesterday was primary election day and here in Manitowish Waters we managed to whittle down the five candidates for town supervisor to the four that will be on the April ballot where the final two will be selected. The vote totals for the 5 candidates were:
As I mentioned in an earlier blog post, I am one of those candidates for a town supervisor position. Drum roll, please -- my vote total was the middle number, 114. Not too bad, I think -- I received more votes than one of the incumbents, and only 3 votes less than the other. It always feels good to find out that your reputation isn't completely shot to hell in the community. 
On the other hand, I do have some work yet to do before the April election -- as there are only two supervisor positions to fill, being number three in the balloting on April 7 equals being first loser.
