Have you ever watched the Discover Wisconsin television program? I have from time-to-time and now I actually have a real reason to -- the episode scheduled to air April 3rd features Manitowish Waters. The 30 minute program is titled "Manitowish Waters - We've Got It All" and will be broadcast locally at 6:30 P.M. on Channel 9 (Wausau) and Channel 34 (Eagle River) as well as on many other stations throughout the state and region. As you may know, quite a bit of time passes from filming to viewing. The summer scenes were shot last year; the winter scenes I assume this past winter. I had a (very) small part to play in the production -- last summer I assisted in the filming (it consisted of handling a radio) at the Manitowish Waters Airport. If you have viewed either of my attempts to create real estate videos for my YouTube Channel, you will quite correctly conclude that I did not pick up anything useful from the Discover Wisconsin camera team.
